From AI vision to a working solution
Lately at IT conferences the same story keeps getting told: the enterprise will soon start running itself. AI agents will close the books, reroute a delayed delivery, draft a contract and respond to a leave request. It has to be said that the vision is coherent and impressive. At least on slides. Every major vendor of enterprise management and process automation tools promises the exact same future today, so the vision itself has stopped being a differentiator. What separates a promise from value is what can actually be built right now, on top of available solutions, rather than “early access” or a slide marked “coming soon”.
This leads one layer down, to integration and automation. Before an agent “decides” anything, someone has to connect the systems, establish who is allowed to do what, and leave an auditable trail behind it. The latest Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS puts it plainly: iPaaS is the foundation of AI-ready integration, and basic AI features have stopped being a differentiator – what matters more and more is the control layer and support for protocols such as MCP, which give agents secure access to company data. In other words, it is integration that determines whether an organization’s AI ambitions have anything to stand on.
Why we’re organizing this hackathon
Clash of Agents comes precisely from this conviction. Instead of watching yet another demo, we want to spend an afternoon building agentic flows together on the Workato platform, testing the approach in practice and paying attention to the fundamentals that determine the success of AI initiatives in companies.
That’s why, on June 11, Sygeon and Workato invite you to the ADN Conference Center at Browary Warszawskie. You’ll build a working automation in Workato and expose it to AI agents as a tool through the MCP layer. Workato and Sygeon experts will take an active part in the workshop, so there’s no need to worry if you don’t have experience with the Workato platform yet.
What to expect
A hackathon is the fastest form of learning we know – instead of hearing about what the platform can do, you try it out straight away. You’ll leave with a finished project, new contacts in the integration and automation community, and an idea of how to put what you’ve learned to use in your own organization. The best team takes home a prize, and we close the day with networking over dinner. You don’t need to know Workato beforehand. To make the most of your time on-site, you can check out the free Workato Foundations 1 and 2 courses, but we’ll cover everything at the event anyway. We invite IT specialists and solution architects, no-code and low-code enthusiasts, consultants and business analysts, as well as anyone who wants to see how an integration platform really behaves in the era of AI agents.
